Our commitment is to the highest forms of scholarship invested in the significances of the arts in education and the education within the arts. As editors, our personal goal is to create a communal space in which to incite productive dialogue revealing the potential of the arts within education through all forms of inquiry. It is full of meaning psychologically. The script is about a king whom got dying from sickness. As the death will come, people tend to speak wise. To identify how wise the words is delivered in the dialogue. An aphorism investigation is proposed.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> This study aims to identify the aphorism in Indonesian version of Le Roi Se Meurt by Ionesco titled Raja Mati. Further, this study investigates what kind of messages that the aphorism line tells to.</p> <p><strong>Design and methods</strong>: This study uses content analysis investigating dialogue in the written script. The dialogues are placed in a table to help investigating whether the line consist semantically an aphorism or not. each row represents a line of dialogue. Next, the lines are analyzed to reveal what is the background of the maxims generated to obtain the main information. To verify the results, the triangulation of the data source technique is used. Verification is used to distinguish between maxims and others.</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> This study reveals Raja Mati has 4 aphorisms that mostly belongs to line of Machgrit. Aphorism in Raja Mati emphasize the maturity of characters. The learning material referred to in the research is mime material.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> this study aims to determine the extent of mime learning efforts for elementary school students.</p> <p><strong>Design and methods:</strong> This research belongs to the category of literature study research considering that the data sources mostly refer to document analysis. Documents were collected through various sources, including journals, books, online news media, and video documents related to pantomime.</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> Pantomime learning for elementary school children is embedded by the government through a number of activity programs on the content of learning arts and culture.</p> Nuryansyah Adijaya Copyright (c) 2021 Nuryansyah Adijaya https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2021-01-31 2021-01-31 1 2 59 65 10.56724/ardu.v1i2.70 Indonesian cultural diversity learning for 4th grader students https://alejournal.com/index.php/ardu/article/view/44 <p><strong>Background:</strong> The importance of multicultural education is given to children from an early age in the hope that children are able to understand that in their environment and also in other environments there is cultural diversity.</p> <p><strong>Purpose:</strong> The aim of this study is to investigate the material used for elementary students in increasing a number of knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed in their ethnic cultural environment, national culture, and other ethnic intercultural cultures.</p> <p><strong>Design and methods</strong>: content analysis is research conducted to analyze and understand the text. Content analysis can also be interpreted as a model used to examine data documentation in the form of text, images, symbols, and so on. In this study, content analysis was focused on content and sentences that showed the values of Cultural Diversity Education contained in the thematic textbook for SD / MI class IV curriculum 2013 revision edition 2017.</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> In the book, Theme 1 and Theme 7 introduces various kinds of Indonesian culture such as cultural parades featuring the diversity of Indonesian culture, musical instruments, regional dances, traditional houses, regional specialties, folk songs, regional clothing to ethnic groups in Indonesia.
